This picture represents accuracy. On my math
homework we are graded for the accuracy of each answer. Accuracy is when you
get the correct answer. It’s getting to the number that you’re supposed to, or
how close you are to the target given. Accuracy is when something is free from
error. During the first unit of physics we talked about the difference between
accuracy and precision. Precision is when you get the same value multiple
times, or when your numbers are gathered closely. For example the precision of an experiment is
the measure of the reliability of the experiment, or how reproducible the
experiment is. The accuracy of an experiment is the measure of how closely the
experimental results agree with a true value or the targeted value.
